We've used Mark multiple times and have always been very happy. This was quite a big, complicated job, with high walls over the stairs, lots of wallpaper to be stripped and walls prepped, and we also had the banister sanded and sprayed. We love the end result and Mark was very clean, considerate, diligent and friendly the whole time. Very competitive price for the amount of work done. We'd highly recommend!

It is very rare to find a bloke like Mark, who always turned up when he said he would, kept us informed of everything he was doing, was polite, left no mess on job completion and on top of that, did a great job on our house. We had had the same decorators for years but then they retired. We tried another recommendation but were disappointed with the results so we were looking for a quality decorator and are pleased we have found one.We picked Derwent Painting Services from Trusted Trader. I was impressed from the outset - I filled in an enquiry on the website and Mark got back to me the same evening. They are busy, which might mean you have to wait. But it’s definitely worth any wait - skilled people are busy because they are in demand. Mark gave us a timeframe and worked within that.We are very pleased with his work. He has painted a challenging room with beams. His preparation was thorough - there was a lot to do for a variety of reasons and he was very methodical about it. It’s a really professional, high quality finish and we have already got him booked in for further jobs.

The team painted our holiday apartments in Ashbourne. It was a big job and difficult, because of the age of the building and the poor quality of the surfaces, which needed a lot of repairs before they could be painted. Derwent Decorators did an excellent job, were very tidy, on time and on budget.

This is the first time we Have used Derwent Painting Services. The hall stairs and landing were redecorated including all woodwork. We had very good advice on paint products from Mark. Using his sanding equipment meant there was very little dust raised during this job. He carried out the work very efficiently and tidily and we are very happy with the results. We will ask him back to do more redecorating in the future.

DPS painted the outside of our house which was large project including mock Tudor panelling, sash windows and spray painting render. They provided a competitive and excellent service from the point of providing a quotation through to completing the works. The standard of workmanship was very good, the area was left clean and tidy on completion. I was kept fully informed throughout, DPS returned to complete minor snags promptly. I was a Director of the Management Company and a leaseholder of one of the 32 residential flats. The entire process from initial contact, multiple on site assessment visits pre quote, quoting and the entire paint works was perfect. Many other leaseholders have taken the time to compliment both Mark and Dave on the quality of the work. Mark also proposed the use of a specialist nautical metal paint due to the exposure of our balconies - which so far has been far better than paints used on early renovations. And also were very considerate of our Neighbours.The whole job was completed in 1 week, and it is a fairly large area, I was impressed with the speed at which it was done.
