The journey of Derwent Painting Services began when Mark Morgan started painting in 2006. His passion stayed with him as he went to college, and started working hands on, at the age of 16. In his third year, he was promoted to the position of assistant manager to a nationwide contractor who carried out painting and repair work to Railway stations, hotels and various other Commercial projects.
In 2009, he was made redundant, but his passion for his work and his commitment to creating his own business drove him towards entrepreneurship. Three years of apprenticeship had equipped him with the skills to become a top-grade professional. He went to the Princes Trust in Derby, completed his course there, and got his funding to start Derwent Painting Services.
And in these few years, Derwent Painting Services has built on its core strengths to become one of the most sought-after painting service providers. We work only using the finest brands. We regularly use Dulux and Johnstone’s, and our technology is world class as well, with Festool and Mirka dustless sanding machines helping us achieve ultra-high levels of efficiency.
